ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

It aims at imparting quality education and equipping the students with the necessary skills to face the challenges of the present outside world. The 60 year old department is always in the fore-front for the all round development of its students with the eminent faculties.

COURSES AND COMBINATIONS

The Physics subject is offered with different combinations as follows:

· Faculty initiate activities like weekly assignments, seminar , group discussions ,quiz programmes,study projects, model projects, field visits, digital assignments, JAM(just a minute), Flash cards

· Faculty and students actively participate in plantation and swaccha Bharat.

· Achievement of nearly 100% results in Semester End Examinations.

Knowledge Outcomes

After completing B.Sc. (Physics) Programme students will be able to:

1. Apply the basic principles of Physics to the events occurring around us and also in the

world.

2. Try to find out or analyze scientific reasoning for various things.

Skill Outcomes

After completing B.Sc. (Physics) Programme students will be able to:

1. Use of computers and various software and programming skills

2. apply the knowledge to develop the sustainable and eco-friendly technology for pollution

free environment

3. collaborate effectively on team-oriented projects in the field of Physics

4. Communicate scientific information in a clear and concise manner both orally and in

writing or through audio video presentations
