LMS / e-tools designed by Staff
Learning Management System (LMS) is a very good initiative of the Collegiate education under RUSA to enhance the quality of teaching and promote cooperative learning among students. The main objectives of LMS are
Objectives
- To encourage self-learning among students
- To involve students in the ICT based Learning Process
- To change the role of teachers and facilitate learning by innovations, mentoring and counseling
- To help students become familiar with basics and master the subject.
- To improve employment opportunities in core subjects
LMS Users
Admin:
An Admin or LMS Coordinator of the College approves the Students and Staff who are registered in the LMS Portal and encourage them to use the content in the LMS wherever necessary in their curriculum.
In our college SriE.Sanjay Kumar, Lecturer in Physics is the LMS Coordinator.
Teacher/Presenter
The role of Presenter is to create content and upload in to LMS portal. He/She has to prepare notes, PPTs, Multiple choice questions, weblinks and additional information of the topic.
In our college the following Staff members are appointed as Subject experts in their respective subjects. They are also presenters in LMS. Sri SriE.Sanjay Kumar,, Lecturer in Physics , Sri.S.KashimSaheb, Lecturer in Chemistry and Dr.G.Srinivasa Reddy, Lecturer in History.
Student:
A students has to register with his details in the LMS portal to access the content. He can watch the videos, download the notes available and participateself assessmentand discussion forum by clicking Self learning.
